At Chatterton Way Dental, we offer a full range of dental services using the latest technology and techniques to provide you with a healthy, great-looking smile.
Because we like to provide a stress-free environment where we can get to know our patients, we make every effort not to double-book or try to be in multiple places at the same time. On most days, our office has two hygienists and one dentist working to accommodate your appointments at a pace that’s manageable and calm for all.
Your comfort is one of our highest priorities.
Our skilled team members take your comfort seriously. We understand that some patients need extra time and care, so we explain what will happen and we don’t rush procedures.
If you’re getting a filling, root canal, or any other surgical procedure, we provide plenty of local anaesthetic to prevent discomfort during the procedure. Afterwards, our patients usually don’t require any additional pain management. When they do, it is often only over-the-counter medication like Advil or Tylenol for a couple of days. We do also prescribe a short course of Tylenol-3s if required after more complex procedures.
Complete Dental Services
Restorative Dentistry
If your teeth are having some trouble with decay, fractures, or wear, we can help rebuild and secure them. We offer fillings as well as crown and bridge work for larger restorations. If you are missing one or more teeth, we also are happy to make dentures and restore on dental implants.
Preventative Dentistry
Seeing your dentist and hygienist on a regular basis allows us to examine your teeth and get on top of problems before they get out of hand. Your mouth is always changing, so what is in perfect health now may need some assistance in the future.
Full & Partial Dentures
If you’re missing several teeth, dentures can be an affordable solution. Chatterton Way Dental can provide partial or full dentures; these are probably the most economical way of replacing several missing teeth. Modern removable upper dentures are usually very stable thanks to suction; once they’re in place, they usually stay put until you take them out at night and clean them. Lower dentures have to contend with the tongue, so they aren’t always as stable, but there are ways to make them stay in place, including an implant/denture combo.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are used to replace missing permanent teeth and are as close to a real tooth as you can get. These small titanium screws are surgically inserted into the jaw to function as a root for a crown or bridge
Orthodontics
Do you feel self-conscious when you smile because your teeth aren’t perfect? With clear aligners, we can move your teeth into place for you. Or perhaps you had orthodontics a while ago and haven’t been wearing your retainer? We can use clear aligners to move things back to where they were.
Children
We love kids at Chatterton Way Dental! We recommend you bring your baby in when their first teeth start coming in (around six to 12 months old) so they can start getting used to seeing the dentist and you can learn about keeping their teeth healthy. The right age for a first cleaning and checkup is usually around two to three years old.
